Kennel Club Books (KCB) was formed for the purpose of specializing in the publication of pet books. Our dog books have established us as the preeminent authority. We have retained the services of individuals who have extensive experience specifically in the writing, editing, and designing of pet books. We utilize world-class pet photographers to obtain breed-specific photographs that are directly related to the topics in each chapter of our books. We print our books utilizing high-quality paper and state-of-the-art printing techniques.

Our editorial staff is comprised of experts who have many years of experience in dealing directly with breed clubs and the individuals who form the leadership in these clubs. The Comprehensive Owner’s Guide series of breed books will ultimately contain 377 titles (covering more than 400 breeds). Never before have books been published for many of these lesser-known breeds. In addition to the introduction of this series in the United States, arrangements have already been made with a number of international publishers to publish the books in the Dutch, French, German, Greek, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish languages.

Unlike many popular breed books available on the market, each of our books is written, photographed, and entirely focused on the specific breed. The KCB series is designed with easy-to-read "Tip Boxes" that highlight helpful hints and important information. Each Comprehensive Owner’s Guide book in this series is useful for not only the new dog owner, but also the aficionado. Specially commissioned scientific photographs never before seen in a dog book provide an in-depth look at the health care of the dog. Authoritative health and training chapters devised by pet professionals, trainers, and veterinarians provide expert, readable advice and accurate, current information specifically for the dog owner. The retail prices range from $14.95 for the popular breeds to $19.95 for the less-common breeds, and $24.95 for the special, rare breeds. No other book is likely to exist for many of these rare-breed titles.
